Reorientasi Pengembangan Perekonomian Kalimantan Selatan: Dari Ekonomi Ekstraktif Menuju Ekonomi Berbasis Potensi Wilayah

Pembangunan ekonomi di Kalimantan Selatan masih didominasi oleh sektor ekstraktif, khususnya pertambangan dan penggalian, meskipun wilayah ini memiliki potensi sumber daya yang beragam. Ketergantungan ini menciptakan kerentanan ekonomi akibat fluktuasi harga komoditas dan berkontribusi pada degradasi lingkungan serta peningkatan risiko bencana hidrometeorologi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis struktur dan dinamika ekonomi Kalimantan Selatan sebagai dasar untuk mengarahkan kembali pembangunan menuju model yang lebih berkelanjutan dan tangguh. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data PDRB harga konstan untuk periode 2020–2023, dianalisis melalui Location Quotient, Dynamic Location Quotient, dan Klassen Typology. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pertambangan tetap menjadi sektor dasar utama, namun mengalami perlambatan, sementara sektor pertanian, pengelolaan air dan limbah, pendidikan, dan kesehatan relatif stabil dan menjanjikan. Sektor nonpokok seperti manufaktur, perdagangan, dan jasa keuangan juga menunjukkan potensi sebagai pendorong diversifikasi ekonomi, menyoroti kebutuhan akan kebijakan yang memperkuat sektor nonekstraktif dan meningkatkan nilai tambah.
